Elevator wireless bridge (point-to-point AP)

Replace travelling cable for CCTV & intercom backhaul

Wireless bridge architecture replaces wear-prone travelling cables for elevator CCTV and intercom backhaul.

Overview

Elevator wireless bridge (point-to-point AP)

In-car cameras and intercom units connect to a cabin-top AP, while a shaft-side receiver uplinks to a gigabit switch and the security room NVR/intercom master. This architecture supports multiple lifts and reduces mechanical fatigue compared with traditional travelling cables.

Key features

Front-end capture + wireless bridge

Video and voice over one IP path to the security desk.

Less mechanical wear

Avoids flex fatigue of long travelling signal cables.

Faster install

Deployment is faster than full shaft rewiring in many retrofit scenarios.

Scalable to many lifts

Switch capacity and VLAN design per site.
