NF-BWC5G is a 5G body-worn camera built for frontline law enforcement, security patrol and field inspection: dual cameras up to 4K, IR night vision, and live two-way video and group intercom over the full 5G network. Every clip is watermarked with device serial, user and GPS and stored encrypted, then auto-offloaded to a central evidence platform when docked. - NF-BWC5G runs a MediaTek octa-core processor on Android 11 with a dual-camera design — a rear OS12D40 (11.3 MP, 117° wide, F/2.2) plus a front GC5035 (5 MP) — recording up to 4K×2K 30 fps with MediaTek EIS stabilisation, two 850 nm IR LEDs for roughly 3 m night vision, and photos up to about 100 MP.
- It has a 2.4-inch touchscreen and 64 GB internal storage expandable to 512 GB.
- The body weighs just 176 g, is IP68 rated, passed four 2-metre drop tests and operates from −30 °C to +55 °C, mounting hands-free on a multi-function clip with power, record, snapshot, SOS and PTT keys all reachable one-handed.
- Evidence integrity is the core of its value: every clip is automatically watermarked with device serial, user, date-time and GPS coordinates, protected by two-level passwords and encryption, and is tamper-evident from the moment of capture; pre-record buffering means critical moments are never missed.
- Even with no signal in the field, the on-device buffer of up to 512 GB keeps recording; back at base the camera docks in a multi-bay station or offloads over 5G to a central evidence platform, giving dual on-device-and-central backup and, with serial and user overlay, a complete chain of custody.

How is NF-BWC5G different from your site body-worn camera (BWVC)?
They are positioned differently. The site version (BWVC, Dahua MPT230 + EEC400-D station) targets construction works, resident site staff and government works-contract specs, centred on local on-site archiving. NF-BWC5G is a 5G law-enforcement/security-grade body-worn camera focused on full-5G live two-way video, dual cameras up to 4K, tamper-proof encrypted evidence and central evidence-platform dispatch — suited to enforcement, security patrol, transport/logistics and field inspection. The two can be used separately or together by scenario.
Do we have to use 5G and a central platform?
No. NF-BWC5G works standalone: it records, watermarks and stores footage encrypted with up to 512 GB of buffer; at end of shift you dock it or offload over USB-C, with no platform required. Add a data SIM and evidence-management platform only when you need live streaming, two-way video, group intercom and central management (some live/intercom features need third-party software SDK integration); it can be rolled out in phases.
How is footage made tamper-proof and usable as evidence?

Does it have face or licence-plate recognition?
NF-BWC5G provides the core functions on-device — 5G live streaming, recording, watermark/encryption and intercom. Face and licence-plate recognition are optional, requiring integration of a third-party algorithm SDK (which may incur additional cost) and assessment against Hong Kong privacy and other regulations for the intended use.
